The department of education shall prominently post on the website maintained by the department best practice examples of evidence-based reading intervention and remedial reading strategies used in school districts and charter schools in this state. The examples shall be selected from those school districts and charter schools that demonstrate improvement on third grade reading proficiency as measured by the statewide assessment administered pursuant to § 15-741. The school districts and charter schools selected shall represent school districts and charter schools in demographic composition, including rural and urban, size and student characteristics.
