Arkansas Code Title 11. Labor and Industrial Relations § 11-9-516. Medical services, etc.--Provider information

(a)(1) Every hospital or other person furnishing the injured employee with medical services shall permit its records to be copied by and shall furnish full written information to the Workers' Compensation Commission, the Workers' Compensation Fraud Investigation Unit, the employer, the carrier, and the employee or the employee's dependents.

(2) The reasonable cost of copies as set forth in Workers’ Compensation Commission Rule 30 shall be paid by the one requesting them to the healthcare or medical service provider furnishing them.

(b) No person who in good faith pursuant to subsection (a) of this section or pursuant to rules established by the commission reports medical information shall incur legal liability for the disclosure of the information.
