(a) At the end of each calendar quarter, the Division of Workforce Services shall certify to a state agency the unemployment compensation benefit payments made to a former state agency employee who claimed and qualified for unemployment compensation benefits under the Division of Workforce Services Law, § 11-10-101 et seq.
(b) Upon satisfaction by the Chief Fiscal Officer of the State that the payments to a former state agency employee were made in accordance with the Division of Workforce Services Law, § 11-10-101 et seq., the Chief Fiscal Officer of the State shall disburse funds appropriated for unemployment compensation claims to reimburse the division for benefits paid in the previous calendar quarter.
