<Const. Amend. 8, proposed by Acts of 1919, H.J.R. 7, p. 489, approved at 1920 general election, amended AR CONST Art. 3, § 1.  See that section for current text.><Const. Amend. 51, § 17, supersedes and repeals the requirement of Const. Amend. 8 that a poll tax receipt be presented prior to registration or voting.>
