West Virginia Code Chapter 36B. Uniform Common Interest Ownership Act § 36B-1-201. Applicability to new common interest communities

Except as provided in sections 1-202 and 1-203, this chapter applies to all common interest communities created within this state after the effective date of this chapter. The provisions of chapter one hundred fifty-three, acts of the Legislature, one thousand nine hundred sixty-three, chapter one hundred twenty-nine, acts of the Legislature, one thousand nine hundred eighty, and chapter thirty-eight, acts of the Legislature, one thousand nine hundred eighty-four, do not apply to common interest communities created after the effective date of this chapter.
