When a levy is so made upon real estate, the officer making it shall publish notice thereof and of the time and place of sale as a Class III-0 legal advertisement in compliance with the provisions of article three, chapter fifty-nine of this Code, and the publication area for such publication shall be the county. The sale shall take place at the premises or at the front door of the courthouse, as the officer may deem most advisable.
