Wisconsin Statutes Testimony, Documentary Evidence and Presumptions (Ch. 885 to 891) § 891.28. Area of towns and counties

Whenever the total area of towns or counties shall be in question, townships not returned as fractional by the surveys under which the public lands were sold by the United States, shall be held to be 6 miles square; and townships returned as fractional shall be held to contain the areas shown by such surveys or the plats thereof.
