The Wisconsin Veterans Council shall have full corporate power to transact business in this state upon filing with the department of financial institutions a full and complete list of its duly elected officers. The Wisconsin Veterans Council shall during each succeeding year of its existence file with the department of financial institutions on or before the first day of January of each succeeding year thereafter a like list of its duly elected officers. No filing fees shall be charged by the department of financial institutions for so doing.
