Wisconsin Statutes Corporations (Ch. 180 to 188) § 181.1508. Change of registered agent or registered office of foreign corporation

(1) A foreign corporation authorized to transact business in this state may change its registered agent or registered office as provided in s. 181.0214(5) or by delivering to the department for filing a statement of change that states all of the following:

(a) The name of the foreign corporation.

(b) The information that is to be in effect as a result of the filing of the statement of change.

(2) A statement of change under this section designating a new registered agent is an affirmation of fact by the foreign corporation that the agent has consented to serve.

(3) As an alternative to using the procedure in this section, a foreign corporation may amend its certificate of authority.
