Washington Revised Code Title 65. Recording, Registration, and Legal Publication § 65.04.130. Fees to be paid or tendered

Said county auditor is not bound to record any instrument, or file any paper or notice, or furnish any copies, or to render any service connected with his or her office, until his or her fees for the same, as prescribed by law, are if demanded paid or tendered.
