Vermont Statutes Title 27. Property, § 405. Vendor to record title on request

When a person sells and conveys lands, or an estate or interest in land, the person shall cause the person's title deed to be recorded in the land records office within six months after request made in writing by a subsequent purchaser of the same lands or an estate or interest in the lands.
