(a) The Prudential Committee shall annually appoint a Treasurer who shall have all the authority, duties, and responsibilities conferred upon fire district treasurers by the general law of the State of Vermont.
(b) The appointed Treasurer shall receive such compensation for his or her services as determined by the Prudential Committee.
(c) The appointed Treasurer shall serve at the pleasure of the Prudential Committee and need not be a resident or voter of North Branch Fire District No. 1.
(d) The appointed Treasurer may also be a Collector of Taxes.
