(a) The Selectboard or School Board of Trustees may postpone the vote on any question to be voted at a special Town or School District meeting to the annual meeting if such special meeting falls within 90 days of the annual meeting.
(b) If a special Town or School District meeting falls within 45 days of a sister Town meeting called by petition, the Selectboard or School Board of Trustees may warn the questions to be voted for the later Town or School District meeting and may, by resolution, rescind the call of the earlier meeting.
