Notwithstanding the provisions of sections 4202, 4210, 4213, and 4215 relating to the maintenance of records, all rules adopted by the Department of Health and the Board of Pharmacy governing the records for the manufacturing, distribution, and dispensation of regulated drugs shall be in accordance with the similar requirements set by the federal government under the Controlled Substances Act 1 so that compliance with Department of Health and Board of Pharmacy rules will result in compliance with federal laws and regulations.
