Whenever a child of a service member parent who enrolls in a school division pursuant to subdivision B 3 of § 22.1-3 is also a child with disabilities, the school board that governs the school division shall, upon receiving the documentation from the service member parent or an official letter from the service member parent's command indicating such service member parent's relocation to such school division, coordinate with the service member parent and such child's previous school division to facilitate the prompt provision of comparable special education services and accommodations based on such child's current Individualized Education Program or Section 504 Plan.
