(1) If the board grants a pardon for a conviction that is the basis for an individual's registration on the Sex, Kidnap, and Child Abuse Offender Registry, the board shall issue an order directing the Department of Public Safety to remove the individual's name and personal information relating to the pardoned conviction from the Sex, Kidnap, and Child Abuse Offender Registry.
(2) An order described in Subsection (1), issued by the board, satisfies the notification requirement described in Subsection 77-41-113(1)(b).
