(a) The notice of the election shall be signed by the president and secretary of the
commission and shall contain a copy of the election order.
(b) The notice shall be published once a week for four consecutive weeks in a newspaper
published in the district or, if a newspaper is not published in the district, in
a newspaper located nearest to the boundaries of the district. The first publication shall be made not less than 32 days nor more than 46 days
before the day of the election.
