(a) Before making a sale, easement, or lease of real property for more than 50 years, the district shall publish a notice in the manner provided in Section 60.035.
(b) A district may enter into negotiations with one or more potential buyers, easement grantees, or lessees before the publication of the notice without affecting the validity of the sale, easement, or lease.
