(a) When the commissioners court issues the dissolution order under Section 57.330 of this code, the trustees shall execute jointly a good and sufficient bond in an
amount sufficient to cover the amount of the outstanding bonds and other debts of
the district, payable to and approved by the county judge, conditioned on the trustees
faithfully performing their duties as trustees and paying money and delivering other
property of the district over which they have control to the persons entitled to the
money or other property.
(b) When the bond is executed, it shall be recorded in the minutes of the commissioners
court. When the bond is approved, it supersedes the bond the treasurer executed under Section 57.065 of this code.
