(a) The returns of the election shall be made and the votes canvassed as provided in this chapter.
(b) If the proposition carries, the board shall declare the result and enter it in its minutes substantially as follows:
“__________ and __________ others having petitioned for the dissolution of __________ County Drainage District No. ___; an election having been held in the district on __________; and a two-thirds majority of the votes cast in the election having favored dissolution of the district; now, therefore, the board of directors declares that __________ Drainage District No.___ is dissolved.”
(c) If the proposition fails to carry, another election for the same purpose may not be held for at least two years after the results of the election are declared.
