Texas Transportation Code - TRANSP § 441.073. Election of Directors

(a) In each year on a uniform election date as provided by Chapter 41, Election Code, an election shall be held in the district to elect the appropriate number of directors.

(b) To have a person's name printed on the ballot at a directors' election as a candidate for director, the person must file a petition with the secretary of the district not later than the 36th day before the date of the election.
