Texas Special District Local Laws Code - SDLL § 9045.103. Limit on eminent domain

The district may exercise the power of eminent domain only:

(1) in Harris County; and

(2) when necessary to carry out the purposes for which the district was created. (Acts 61st Leg., R.S., Ch. 633, Sec. 13 (part).)
