Texas Special District Local Laws Code - SDLL § 8834.057. Applicability of Open Meetings Law

(a) The board shall give notice of board meetings as provided by Chapter 551, Government Code. Failure to provide notice of a regular meeting or an insubstantial defect in notice of any meeting does not affect the validity of any action taken at the meeting.

(b) A meeting of a committee of the board is not subject to Chapter 551, Government Code, if less than a quorum of the board is present at the meeting.
