Texas Special District Local Laws Code - SDLL § 8805.103. Control, Storage, and Preservation of Storm and Flood Water

The district may control, store, and preserve storm water and floodwater in the district and water of rivers and streams in the district for:

(1) irrigation of arid land;

(2) prevention of floods and flood damage in the district; and

(3) domestic, agricultural, and industrial use.
