Texas Special District Local Laws Code - SDLL § 8508.0056. Compensation of Directors

(a) A director is entitled to receive $25 a day and reimbursement for actual and necessary expenses incurred:

(b) A director is not entitled to receive a per diem allowance for more than 50 days in a calendar year.

(c) In all areas of conflict with Subsection (a) or (b) of this section, Section 49.060, Water Code, takes precedence.

(d) A director's compensation may be increased as authorized by Section 49.060, Water Code, by resolution adopted by the board in accordance with Subsection (e) of that section on or after September 1, 1995. (Acts 69th Leg., 1st C.S., Ch. 3, Sec. 8.)
