Texas Special District Local Laws Code - SDLL § 7958.0702. Retaliation for Annexation Disapproval Prohibited

(a) The disapproval of the proposed annexation of an area by the district does not affect any existing legal obligation of the district to continue to provide services in the area, including wastewater services.

(b) The district may not initiate a rate proceeding solely because of the disapproval of a proposed annexation of an area.
