Texas Special District Local Laws Code - SDLL § 6912.057. Vacancies

A vacancy on the board shall be filled by appointment by the remaining supervisors until the next election of supervisors for the authority. If the position is not scheduled to be filled at the election, the person elected to fill the position shall serve only for the remainder of the unexpired term. (Acts 57th Leg., 3rd C.S., Ch. 20, Secs. 3(b) (part), (d) (part).)
