An assessment levied in the district for a public improvement district under Subchapter A, Chapter 372, Local Government Code, or Chapter 382, Local Government Code, may be used only under the terms for which the assessment was levied. Money raised by an assessment in the public improvement district under that chapter must be used in the public improvement district, and may not be transferred for use outside the area for which the assessment was originally levied.
