(a) The board shall have the district's fiscal accounts and records audited annually. The audit must be completed not later than the 120th day after the date on which the district's fiscal year ends.
(b) The person who performs the audit must hold a license issued under Chapter 901, Occupations Code.
(c) The audit must be performed according to generally accepted auditing standards.
