(a) If the board finds that the election results favor the proposition to dissolve the district, the board shall:
(1) issue an order declaring the district be dissolved; and
(2) specify in the order the date the dissolution takes effect.
(b) If the board finds that the election results do not favor the proposition to dissolve the district, another dissolution election may not be held before the first anniversary of the date of the election at which the voters disapproved the proposition. (Acts 68th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1055, Secs. 9.07(b), (c).)
