Texas Special District Local Laws Code - SDLL § 11007.152. Election to Impose Tax

(a) The board may order an election to impose a maintenance tax. The election order must specify:

(b) Notice of the election must be given by publishing once a week for two consecutive weeks a substantial copy of the election order in a newspaper of general circulation in the district.
