(a) To provide joint administration or delivery of health care services, the district may contract with, affiliate with, or enter into another arrangement with:
(1) a managed care system;
(2) a preferred provider organization;
(3) a health maintenance organization;
(4) another provider of an alternative health care or delivery system; or
(5) a private hospital.
(b) The district may spend district money to establish and maintain a partnership, corporation, or other entity involved in the delivery of health care services.
