(a) A company may not sell, offer for sale, or issue a legal service contract in this state unless the company gives the legal service contract holder:
(1) a receipt for, or other written evidence of, the purchase of the contract; and
(2) a copy of the legal service contract.
(b) A company shall perform the services as stated in the legal service contract.
