(a) The commission shall suspend for six months the license of a person who fails to pay an administrative penalty or post a supersedeas bond within the time required by Section 651.555, or within a longer period agreed to by the commission.
(b) After notice and a hearing, the commission may extend the license suspension for a longer period or may revoke the license for failure to pay the penalty or post a supersedeas bond.
