(a) The medical board, with the assistance of the Texas Board of Nursing, the Texas Physician Assistant Board, and other appropriate state agencies, shall identify by rule radiologic procedures, other than radiologic procedures described by Subsection (c), that are dangerous or hazardous and that may be performed only by a practitioner, medical radiologic technologist certified under this chapter, registered nurse, or licensed physician assistant.
(b) Repealed by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., ch. 838 (S.B. 202), § 2.197(4).
(c) Subsection (a) does not apply to a radiologic procedure involving a dental X-ray machine, including a panarex or other equipment designed and manufactured only for use in dental radiography.
