A person licensed under this chapter to perform asbestos inspections or surveys, write management plans, or design abatement specifications for an asbestos abatement project may also engage in the removal of asbestos from the building or facility at which an asbestos abatement project takes place only if the person is retained to remove the asbestos by a municipality.
