Texas Natural Resources Code - NAT RES § 89.121. Enforcement by Commission

(a) In addition to the powers specifically granted to the commission under this chapter, the commission may enforce this chapter or any rule or order of the commission adopted under this chapter in the same manner and on the same conditions as provided in the other chapters of Title 3 of this code.  1

(b) Civil penalties collected for violations of this chapter or of rules relating to plugging that are adopted under this code shall be deposited in the general revenue fund.
