Texas Local Government Code - LOC GOV'T § 83.007. Statutory Reference: Function of Treasurer in County That Has Abolished Office

In a county for which the office of county treasurer has been abolished, a reference in this code or other state statute to the county treasurer means the person who performs the powers or duties of the county treasurer in that county.
