(a) If the commissioners court is unable to obtain publication of a notice or report as required by law, the court may post a copy of the notice or report at the courthouse door and post one copy at a public place in each commissioner's precinct. However, not more than one copy may be posted in the same municipality.
(b) Posting must continue for the 30 days preceding the date the next court term begins.
