Those laws suspended by the operation of Section 659.013 are continued in effect, although suspended, as those laws existed September 1, 1993, including:
(1) Article 6813, Revised Statutes 1 (setting annual salaries for named officers and employees);
(2) Chapter 277, Acts of the 40th Legislature, Regular Session, 1927 (Article 6813a, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes 1) (setting and regulating the salary of members of the Railroad Commission of Texas); and
(3) Article 6824, Revised Statutes 1 (prohibiting an increase or decrease of salary during an officer's term of office).
