Texas Government Code - GOV'T § 656.026. Job Notice Posting Waiver

A state agency is not required to comply with the requirements of this subchapter or Subchapter A when the agency transfers or reassigns an employee as part of a reorganization or merger mandated by the legislature if the executive head of the agency certifies that the transfer or reassignment is necessary for the proper implementation of the reorganization or merger.
