To ensure appropriate access to an adequate provider network, each Medicaid managed care organization providing health care services to recipients in a health care service region shall submit to the commission, in the format and manner the commission prescribes, a report detailing the number, type, and scope of services out-of-network providers provide to recipients enrolled in a Medicaid managed care plan the organization provides. (Gov. Code, Sec. 533.007(g) (part).)
