Texas Government Code - GOV'T § 508.321. Reporting, Management, and Collection Services

The department, with the approval of the Texas Board of Criminal Justice, may contract with a public or private vendor to provide telephone reporting, automated caseload management, or collection services for:
(1) fines, fees, restitution, or other costs ordered to be paid by a court; or
(2) fees collected by the division.
