Texas Government Code - GOV'T § 497.093. Inmate Labor at Sam Houston State University

The institutional division may provide trusties to work at Sam Houston State University.  The institutional division shall maintain control over the trusties at all times.  Time spent by a trusty working at the university is considered time spent by the inmate in custody.
