Texas Government Code - GOV'T § 411.111. Access to Criminal History Record Information: District Court; Name Changes

A district court is entitled to obtain from the department criminal history record information maintained by the department that relates to a person who is:
(1) an adult; and
(2) has petitioned the court to order a change of name for the person.
