Texas Government Code - GOV'T § 403.610. Governor Action on Application

(a) The governor shall, not later than the 30th day after the date the governor receives an application sent to the governor by the comptroller under Section 403.609, consider the application and by official action determine whether the governor is agreeable to entering into the agreement that is the subject of the application.

(b) The governor shall provide written notice of the governor's determination under Subsection (a) to the comptroller, the applicable school district, and the applicant not later than the seventh day after the date the governor makes the determination under that subsection.
