On receipt of a registration certificate issued under this chapter, the dealer or investment adviser named in the certificate shall immediately post and conspicuously display the certificate at all times in the dealer's or investment adviser's principal place of business, if the dealer's or investment adviser's principal place of business is maintained in this state. The dealer or investment adviser shall similarly post and conspicuously display a duplicate copy of the dealer's or investment adviser's certificate in each branch office located in this state.
