(a) The municipal judge shall appoint the court reporter under Section 30.00010, who must meet qualifications determined by the judge or, if there is more than one judge, by the presiding municipal judge. The governing body of the city shall set the compensation of the court reporter on the recommendation of the presiding judge.
(b) Repealed by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 691, § 139(15), eff. Sept. 1, 1999.
(c) Section 30.00010(d) does not apply to this subchapter.
