Texas Government Code - GOV'T § 1509.010. Grants for Prisons or Law Enforcement Facilities Not Prohibited

This subchapter does not prohibit a municipality from making a grant of money or property to an agency of this state to assist the agency in acquiring or developing a site for a prison or other law enforcement detention facility, regardless of whether the site is located inside or outside the municipal boundaries.
