Texas Government Code - GOV'T § 1509.005. Election Required to Secure Bonds With Tax Revenue

Bonds to be issued under this subchapter that are payable in whole or in part from ad valorem taxes must be approved, before issuance, by a vote of a majority of the registered voters of the municipality voting on the issue.
